About the Game

Gaiares is a horizontally scrolling shooter where players pilot a starfighter with the TOZ System weapon against the evil Queen ZZ Badnusty and her Gulfer pirates. The TOZ device learns and inherits enemy weapons by absorbing them, with up to 18 weapons that can be strengthened to maximum. Story: In 3008, Earth is a toxic wasteland; legendary pilot Dan Dare (Diaz) and alien princess Alexis must stop the pirates from using pollution for weapons, or Leezaluth will supernova the sun. Gameplay features 8 stages with mid-level and boss fights. It stands out for its unique weapon-capture mechanic, challenging difficulty, and anime-style cutscenes. Players control the ship in fast-paced action.
