About the Game

Imperium is a vertically scrolling shooter game. The player controls the mecha Dion, sent to liberate Earth from the invading Zektron space fortress in 2027. Core mechanics include rapid-fire weapons (wave beam, Vulcan shot, reverse star, laser) that can be switched at any time, plus an experience-based leveling system where destroying enemies upgrades weapons. Gameplay features 6 stages of action through urban, forest, sea, desert, and space environments. No characters beyond the player's ship. What makes it stand out is the unique experience point progression and weapon evolution system integrated with smooth vertical scrolling.
