Kawaguchi 64

Nushi Tsuri 64: Shiokaze ni Notte is an RPG where you play as a young angler who leaves home to become a 'River King' and save the world with powerful fishing techniques. Gameplay mixes exploration of towns, recruiting helpers, and real-time fishing across rivers and seas using seven different methods. Random encounters in wild areas trigger mini-battles where you choose to throw rocks at enemies or run to safety. You also collect insects and flowers for gardens and study fish to build aquariums. Story follows the hero's journey of growth and adventure. Characters include the customizable protagonist and various NPCs. It stands out as one of the first N64 RPGs with authentic fishing mechanics and charming RPG elements.
