About the Game
Kidou Soukou Dion is a vertically scrolling shooter where the player pilots the mecha Dion (called Imperium in the North American version) to destroy the planetoid fortress Zektron. Gameplay includes six stages of urban, forest, sea, desert, spaceship, moon base, and outer space environments; four switchable weapons (wave beam, Vulcan shot, reverse star, laser) that level up from 1 to 3 based on experience; and a 5-hit life system that persists across levels.
