About the Game

Knight Rider is a racing game for NES/Famicom loosely based on the 1980s TV series. You control Michael Knight piloting the talking AI car KITT (a Pontiac Trans Am) in mission mode across 15 stages, racing through cities in America to stop terrorists. KITT has shield and fuel upgrades, plus laser/missile weapons for enemy vehicles (including helicopters); avoid crashing to not lose shield. There is also a simple drive mode. Story follows the TV plot with cutscenes featuring Devon and Bonnie from the show, but the game adds action via KITT's capabilities.
