About the Game

Master of Weapon is a vertical-scrolling shooter developed by KID and published by Taito, released exclusively in Japan on the Sega Mega Drive. You control a ship that moves in any direction with the D-Pad and begins with a basic photon cannon plus bombs. The story is set after a nuclear war that destroys Earth's environment. There are three difficulty levels, vertical checkpoints that can be turned off, and upgrades including lasers and other weapons obtained through power-ups. The game features multiple stages and the Genesis port is a direct conversion of the 1989 arcade original.
