About the Game

Might and Magic III: Isles of Terra is a turn-based RPG where players create a party of up to six adventurers with randomly rolled stats and custom classes, then explore large pseudo-3D islands and dungeons. The story follows the battle between guardians Corak and Sheltem on the planet Terra, with your party aiding Corak in defeating the rogue Sheltem who has seized control of ancient space nacelles to destroy worlds. Gameplay centers on first-person exploration with a visible automap, avoidable random encounters, inventory management, and party training at inns for leveling. Key mechanics include three magic schools (arcane, clerical, natural), character aging that reduces abilities, and sex/alignment restrictions on areas and items. It stands out for its detailed party-based system, visible roaming monsters, and innovations like saving anywhere outside inns.
