Tengai Makyou Zero

Tengai Makyou Zero is a turn-based role-playing game set in a feudal Japan-like world. The player controls protagonist Higan, the legendary Fire Hero, as he rescues the six kingdoms from the demon lord Ninigi's army after his grandfather is slain and the gods are sealed. Battles use an over-the-shoulder perspective with random encounters; the player equips weapons and armor, levels up, and learns special skills from hidden hermits instead of level-based progression. Fusion spells and character-specific techniques add variety.
