About the Game

Nakayoshi to Issho is an RPG where the player is a devoted fan of the Nakayoshi manga magazine who must retrieve stolen pens from its creators to save the manga worlds. The villain Rakira has taken the pens of authors for series like Goldfish Warning!, Pocket Park, MinMin, Taiyou ni Smash!, Kurumi-chan to Shichinin no Kobitotachi, and especially Sailor Moon. Gameplay involves exploring separate manga-themed worlds, battling enemies, and collecting pens. In each world, the player can transform into the series' main character and team up with an ally from it for special abilities. The combat is luck-based turn-based. The game stands out as a crossover licensed RPG featuring real manga characters in a top-down adventure format for the Famicom.
