Puyo Puyo Tsuu

Puyo Puyo Tsuu is a classic falling-block puzzle game for the Sega Mega Drive. Players drop colored puyo blobs that must be connected in groups of 4 or more of the same color to clear them and clear the screen. The main single-player mode is a tower where the player battles 32 selectable characters in order, earning EXP to climb floors; the final floor features Schezo Wegey, Rulue, and Satan (or Masked Satan). Two-player mode is competitive versus. Mechanics include chaining clears, transparent puyo penalties, and character-specific gimmicks (e.g., filling columns). No story—pure competitive puzzle gameplay. It stands out with its deep strategy, massive 32-character roster, and addictive chain-reaction gameplay.
