About the Game

Rainbow Islands Extra is an arcade-style platformer for the Sega Mega Drive. Players control Bubby and Bobby (human forms of the Bubble Bobble dragons) on seven islands with four stages each. Use rainbow attacks to damage enemies and turn them into items or stepping stones while climbing to the top before the rising sea level. Collect fruits, power-ups for speed and rainbow size, and small diamonds to unlock hidden islands and the true ending. The Extra Mode rearranges enemies and bosses for replayability. The game features colorful levels, challenging bosses, and the signature rainbow mechanics from the Bubble Bobble series.
