About the Game

RoboCop is a run-and-gun action game based on the 1987 film. Gameplay involves side-scrolling combat where the player controls RoboCop with punches via B button and shooting via A button; no jumping but climbing stairs. RoboCop has a built-in Auto-9 pistol (unlimited ammo) and can acquire machine guns or other weapons for rapid fire. Enemies include criminals and robots; some areas restrict guns requiring punches. Story follows Alex Murphy becoming RoboCop, battling Clarence Boddicker and ED-209 to restore law in Detroit. Standout features are the sensor detecting secrets, infrared for dark rooms, and faithful adaptation of the movie's satirical violence and law-enforcement theme.
