About the Game
You control Albatross, a secret agent from the World Crime Police Organization (WCPO), in this run-and-gun action-adventure game. Gameplay involves side-scrolling stages where you pistol-whip enemies, take cover behind crates and doors, and acquire weapons like a standard-issue pistol (slow-firing, limited ammo) or submachine gun for continuous fire. The story follows your mission to rescue Leila Blitz from the terrorist group Geldra, with levels split into two story segments, each featuring five stages full of Masker soldiers, ninjas, Gelzos, and bosses like Maboo. Characters include Albatross and Leila Blitz. What makes it stand out is the innovative cover-based shooting mechanics and enemy variety, predating games like Shinobi.
