About the Game
Werewolf: The Last Warrior is a side-scrolling action-adventure platformer for the NES. Players control Ken, the last changeling who transforms into Warwolf, fighting Dr. Faryan's mutant army on Red Earth. Mechanics include pressing 'W' to switch forms for melee combat and wall-climbing as a werewolf, plus bubbles for an anger meter that triggers super werewolf mode with double jumps and damage. Story follows Ken's ritual transformation to defeat the bio-monster threat imprisoning humanity. Standout elements are its gritty comic-book visuals, atmospheric ruined cities and caves, and rare transformation-based gameplay on 8-bit hardware. Single-player only.
