About the Game

Sengoku Denshou is a side-scrolling beat 'em up where modern warriors battle supernatural forces from the Sengoku era. Gameplay features two-player co-op mode, side-view action with punch and kick combos, charge attacks, and power-up orbs that grant swords or ki blasts. Players collect colored orbs to empower their moves while fighting hordes of enemies referencing Japanese mythology. Story follows descendants of elite samurai summoned to stop a prophecy unleashing undead warlords and ghosts from the Magic Castle in ruined Washington City. Characters include protagonists Claude (Japanese-American) and Jack (Western cowboy) who transform into warrior forms like Samurai (katana user), Wolf (agile rolling charge), and Ninja (projectile specialist). It stands out with its time-loop alternate dimension stages, spirit transformations for variety, and fantasy-historical blend that mixes brawling with mythic elements.
