Shining Force Gaiden - Final Conflict

Shining Force Gaiden: Final Conflict is a fantasy turn-based tactics RPG. Gameplay features square-grid tactical battles where each unit occupies one square, with movement and attacks in agility-based turns (speed system); ranged units cannot counter each other. The story begins with Max and the Shining Force pursuing Mishaela, who has injured robot companion Adam; Max and Ridion go missing chasing her, leading Ian to take command of the remaining party in a quest to stop her plan to revive Darksol using Zeon's power. Characters include various races and classes like swordsmen, archers, ninjas, wizards, and priests. It stands out as the series closer linking main Shining Force games, with no Western release and unique integration of the speed-based combat variant.
