About the Game

Swamp Thing is a side-scrolling action-platformer where players control the titular DC Comics character as he battles his way through Louisiana swamps and other environments. Gameplay involves punching enemies, collecting and firing sludge balls as projectiles, and navigating platforming sections with jumps and environmental interactions. The story follows Swamp Thing being transformed into a mutant swamp monster by scientist Anton Arcane and his Un-Men minions, who seek his research formula to rule the world. Characters include Swamp Thing, Arcane, Weedkiller, Skinman, and Deemo. It stands out for its high difficulty, limited continues, and detailed swamp-themed levels featuring a graveyard, chemical factory, toxic dump, and Arcane's lab.
