Alien 3

Alien 3 is a side-scrolling run and gun game based on the Alien 3 film, released for Sega Master System in Europe in 1992. The player controls Ellen Ripley, who navigates the Fiorina 161 prison colony infested by Xenomorphs. Gameplay involves jumping, shooting with weapons like pulse rifles, flamethrowers and grenades, climbing ladders, crawling, opening doors and using elevators, with a motion tracker warning of nearby enemies and level objectives to rescue prisoners or seal doors. Characters include Ellen Ripley as the central hero and hostile Alien enemies such as Xenomorph Runners and Facehuggers. What makes it stand out is the large arsenal of weapons, time-limited levels, prisoner rescue objectives and the final boss battle against the Alien Queen, providing tense horror action with a two-player mode on the Master System.
