Battlemaniacs

Battlemaniacs, known as Battletoads in Battlemaniacs, is a beat 'em up platformer from the Battletoads series for the Sega Master System ported by Syrox Developments for the Brazilian market. The story involves Zitz, Rash and Pimple being kidnapped by creatures during a virtual reality demonstration in a research facility, with the player switching between the three green toads to fight bosses and rescue the CEO's daughter in a virtual 'Gamescape'. Gameplay features chaotic side-scrolling combat with tongue attacks, super squish, and vehicle sections, alongside platforming elements in the online stages. It stands out for its high difficulty, humorous characters like Zitz the brown toad, Rash the orange, and Pimple the pink, and over-the-top violence in a colorful, exaggerated world. Multiplayer is supported in some modes, making it a chaotic, arcade-like experience adapted to the Master System's hardware.
