About the Game
Dragon Scroll: Yomigaerishi Maryuu is an action RPG exclusively released in Japan for the Famicom in 1987 by Konami. Gameplay centers on exploring a fantasy world filled with dungeons, castles, and monsters while battling foes in real-time combat. Players collect items, cast magic, and uncover secrets across side-scrolling stages and overworld areas. The story follows three thieves who steal eight magic books sealed by god Narume centuries ago, accidentally awakening the Chrome Dragon and threatening the land; the Gold Dragon awakens as human Feram to stop it. Characters include the villainous Chrome Dragon, the heroic Feram (Gold Dragon's human form), and various monsters and villagers.
