Neugier - Umi to Kaze no Kodou

Neugier: Umi to Kaze no Kodou is an action role-playing game for Super Famicom. Players control Duke, the exiled Prince of Neugier, in real-time battles as he journeys home to investigate pirates attacking his kingdom. Gameplay involves jumping, equipping armor, and using the throw-chain to latch onto walls, push enemies, or grab platforms and boxes for puzzles. There is no traditional experience system or inventory; HP increases via hearts and enemies level up from kills. The story features attacks by pirates, a witch, and a giant octopus, with Cesia assisting in the fight against the corrupted Count Wayne. It stands out for its top-down exploration, simple mechanics, and real-time combat with minimal grinding in a short, linear adventure.
