About the Game
Over Horizon is a horizontal-scrolling shooter where you control the space fighter Michael. Players navigate six stages full of environmental hazards and bosses to stop the Gamma organization from using the alien superweapon Kassandra. The main ship shoots forward or backward with A or B buttons, while options can be repositioned by holding both buttons. There are three weapons—Laser, Homing, and Bomber—upgraded by collecting their letters three times, plus an Edit Mode to customize them. Up to two satellite pods fire independently and can block enemy fire. Story characters include Michael and Kassandra. What stands out are the creative levels, innovative weapon customization, and polished 8-bit gameplay.
