About the Game
Shining Force is a tactical RPG on Sega Mega Drive where you command a 12-member party on a grid-based battlefield during turn-based battles. Explore a fantasy world using real-time movement to recruit heroes, defeat enemies, and solve puzzles. The story follows Max, a warrior prince, leading the Shining Force to stop the Dark Dragon threatening the world, featuring characters like Zieg (lion king), Galamoth (dark lord), Centaurus (centaur), and Gil (white dragon). Standout mechanics include over 30 recruitable characters with promotion, speed-based turn order, and 4-character party limit, making it one of the first SRPGs with deep RPG progression and replayability.
