Aaahh!!! Real Monsters

Aaahh!!! Real Monsters is an action-adventure platformer based on the Nickelodeon series. Players control three young monsters—Ickis, Krumm, and Oblina—as they complete their Monster Midterm Exam by scaring people. The game features side-scrolling levels starting in the sewer and progressing above the human world. Key mechanics include character-specific abilities: Ickis can fly briefly, Oblina can climb and reach high ledges, and Krumm can scan off-screen areas. Team moves allow stacking to access otherwise unreachable items. The main weapon is trash projectiles; collecting garbage sacks and fish bones provides triple trash shots, while Monster Manuals enable a screen-wide scare attack. The standout feature is the cooperative team gameplay where players switch between monsters to solve puzzles and overcome obstacles, culminating in a boss fight against Simon the Monster Hunter.
