About the Game

Cliffhanger is an action/adventure platformer and beat 'em up based on the 1993 film. The player controls Gabe Walker, an FBI agent, as he responds to a distress signal from terrorists. After his partner Hal is captured, Gabe must retrieve the stolen money from the plane wreckage while avoiding enemies and navigating snowy terrain. Gameplay involves running, jumping across platforms, and combat with knives, guns, and other weapons. The game follows the film's plot through cutscenes and levels inspired by the mountain rescue mission.
