About the Game
Asteroids for Game Boy is a portable adaptation of Atari's classic arcade shooter where players pilot a triangular ship through space, destroying asteroids and UFOs. The player rotates and thrusts their ship while firing at large asteroids that break into smaller fragments when hit. The game features traditional vector-style graphics adapted to the Game Boy's screen, with progressive difficulty as more asteroids appear. This version maintains the original's simple but addictive gameplay loop of survival and high score chasing in a confined wraparound playfield.
