Light Crusader

Light Crusader is an action-adventure RPG developed by Treasure and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis. In 1995, players control knight Sir David in the kingdom of Green Row, investigating mysterious disappearances and rescuing kidnapped townsfolk from a multi-level dungeon beneath the town. Gameplay combines real-time sword combat (standing, moving, or jumping), four-element magic (water for healing, plus combined attacks and buffs), inventory management, shop visits, and trap-filled puzzles with environmental challenges. The isometric perspective allows free-roaming the town to talk to villagers or explore. The story follows Sir David as he confronts evil wizard Ragno Roke, who seeks to revive the demon Ramiah by sacrificing victims.
