Vectorman

Vectorman is a 2D action-platformer where the spherical Orbot Vectorman is one of many cleaning robots on a polluted Earth in 2049. Humans have left to colonize other planets, leaving Orbots to handle cleanup until WarHead (leader Raster with a nuke) corrupts them all. Vectorman, delivering sludge to the sun, survives the infection and returns to stop the war. Gameplay involves running, jumping, and shooting enemies with his arm-blaster, grabbing morph power-ups for transformations like helicopter, tank, and various animals (scorpion, tick, rhino beetle). The story focuses on defeating WarHead to save humanity and the planet. Single-player game with 16 levels and adjustable difficulties. It stands out for its pre-rendered 3D spherical character models, fast-paced run-and-gun platforming similar to Gunstar Heroes, Contra, and Mega Man, plus unique spherical design and environmental cleanup theme.
