Mazin Saga: Mutant Fighter is a hybrid beat 'em up/fighting game for the Sega Mega Drive where players control Koji Kabuto as Mazinger Z, a special armored suit created by Dr. Kabuto. Gameplay mixes side-scrolling beat 'em up stages battling Bio-Beasts with one-on-one fighting segments. The story, set in 1999, follows Koji Kabuto, his son Koji Kabuto, and the Mazinger Z armor as they fight against God Kaiser Hell's invasion led by the villain Godkaiser Hell. Characters include Koji Kabuto and Godkaiser Hell.
